An agreement has been reached between President-elect Donald Trump and the plaintiffs of a lawsuit against Trump University. A settlement of $25 million has been reached, according to New York’s attorney general Eric Schneiderman. The settlement has prevented Trump from becoming “the first sitting president to testify in open court.” Throughout his campaign, Trump denied the allegations and said that he wouldn’t settle. Schneiderman said that Trump will also pay $1 million in penalties to the state of New York.
